Our two-storey boarding house is situated in Brgy. Bagacay, Dumaguete City, around 10 to 15 minutes walking distance from Foundation University, near the Taclobo Overflow of the Banica River. This location makes it the ideal student accommodation. Commuting by pedicab to Silliman University takes about 15 minutes. The house is within walking distance to the Hypermart Bagacay shopping complex.
The boarding house lies in a quiet area, far away from the main roads. The house was built in 2005, repainted in 2013, and has a spacious garden. The premises are secure, with high fencing and a robust entrance gate. Friendly and helpful people live in the neighborhood. A bakery and some small sari-sari stores are located nearby.

House layout
The four rooms used for boarding are all located upstairs in the building, with a shared comfort room (bathroom/toilet) on the same landing. An outdoor bathroom is located at the back of the house. There is a BBQ area, vegetable plants, and some flowers in the back garden.
Rent, bills and other practicalities
- The monthly rent is PHP 500.00 per person per month sharing, or PHP 2,500.00 per room per month. We allow a maximum of four boarders per room. There are two wooden bunk beds in each room. A single boarder can choose to occupy the entire room, at the per-room charge, subject to availability.
- Advance payment of one month's rent per person applies, and additionally, a security deposit of PHP 500.00 per person applies. These payments will be returned promptly at the end of your stay if there is no damage to the property and all the bills are cleared. Please pay the rent on or before the due date to avoid any penalties.
- The water bill is shared among the tenants. Please contact us for a rough estimate on previous water bill amounts.
- You will also be obliged to share in the payment towards the electricity bill, in case you use an electric fan, a cooker, a television set, or other appliances connected to the mains.
- We regret that we do not have any fixed Internet connection in the boarding house at the moment. Please contact us, should you wish to share a fixed broadband connection with another boarder, and we will be happy to facilitate this. At the moment, Globe's Tattoo or GoSURF offers, the Smart Bro product line, for example LTE Data Package 995, or Sun Cellular's broadband deals, are all feasible options for getting Internet in the boarding house.
- Please notify the Management one month in advance if you are moving out, so that we can arrange to give you your deposit money back in a timely manner.
